Beaugarie

Close to Brantôme, Perigueux and Angoulême, Beaugarie is a mid 19th Century Perigordine farmhouse and converted barn set around a tree-lined central courtyard. As its name suggests (‘Beautiful Shelter’) it is idyllically situated in 5 acres of sheltered meadows surrounded by natural woodland which provides wonderful opportunities for walking on maintained rambling paths. Yet is only a five minute drive from the pretty market town of Mareuil-sur-Belle, with its full range of shops, bars/restaurants, bank, garage and other facilities. Our guests can therefore enjoy the best of both worlds – peace and tranquillity coupled with convenience in a stunning location - and all of this in the heart of the Perigord Vert region of France, which is renowned for its cuisine, natural beauty, places of interest and varied leisure activities.

All of the facilities at Beaugarie are maintained to an extremely high standard. Our guests are assured of a very warm welcome and will enjoy excellent accommodation in a beautiful and completely private barn conversion called Le Puits.
