Getting There

By Road

The nearest ferry port is St Malo from where Beaugarie is an approximate 6 hour drive. Allow 8 hours from Cherbourg and Calais and 7 from Caen and Dieppe. The main ferry operators between the UK and France are P & O, Brittany Ferries and Sea France.

By Air

• Ryanair currently fly from Stansted to both Limoges and Bergerac. Car hire is available at these airports and the drive from both is about 1 hr 30 mins.
• Flights from the larger airlines (eg. BA and Air France) are available from most major UK airports to Bordeaux from where the transfer is approximately 2 hours.

By Rail

Eurostar London to Paris or Lille then TGV Paris or Lille to Angoulême. The travel time is approximately 5½ hours and car hire is available at Angoulême station.
